Carmen Shepherd of Communication Femme presents a cheque for $200 to Claire Vincent-Viau of the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.  Proceeds of penny sales, 50/50 draws and membership fees.

Ecole St. Denis held their 6th annual event in memory of Riley Gallo. Laurentian University-College Single Students Residence enjoyed another success with "Airbands For Cancer" their 5 annual Lip Sync event. The Elizabeth Barrett Browning IODE presented $2000 to breast cancer research to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.

10 year old Erin Griffiths, a student at MacLeod Public School is giving a special gift by donating her hair to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation for cancer patients in need.

Patricia Mongrain presented $360.00 in memory of her father Brethour Mongrain to Maureen Lacroix, board chair of the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.

Special Thanks to Sponsors and Supporters of the 8th Annual Friends of the Star Tavern "RAY OF HOPE" Pool Tournament which took place on March 31, 2007 at the Star Tavern in Azilda.  The event raised an amazing $4,446.50 for cancer research and patient care at the Regional Cancer Program.  To date the event raised in excess of $21,545 for the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.  L-R; Joanne Brosseau -  oganizer, Claire Vincent-Viau - Special Events Coordinator NCRF, Nicky Lanouette - organizer.
