Cancer is never a nice topic to discuss, but so important to treat and prevent.  March is National Colorectal Cancer month.  In 2011, an estimated 22,000 new cases were diagnosed inCanada.  Fortunately, colon cancer is 90% preventable if detected early. 

This March, the Northern Cancer Foundation (NCF) and local business, Adoro Olive Oils and Vinegars, will be joining forces to promote better health in Greater Sudbury.  Throughout the month, Adoro will donate a percentage of their sales of all oils and vinegars to the NCF- in support of the world class care delivered at the Northeast Cancer Centre. 

In addition, Adoro will be hosting an evening of food demonstration, tasting and general nutrition with Kyle Paden on Tuesday, March 21, 2012.  A veteran in the food industry, she is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, a cooking and baking instructor and the owner/operator of Kyle’s Cakes.
